You’re going to learn so much at Conserve School, and a lot of this learning will take place outside of the classroom. You’ll learn how to respectfully share space in your house and your wing. You’ll learn how to portage a canoe and make dinner over a camp stove on a wilderness trip. You’ll learn how to effectively and respectfully resolve your differences with the other students in your house. You’ll gain independence and confidence through managing your studies, responsibilities, relationships, and recreation time. You’ll find out how great it feels to give your time to serve others and contribute to your community. You’ll have the opportunity to exercise leadership on campus, and to participate in making decisions that benefit the school community through Community Caucus. Conserve School gives you the opportunity to more fully discover and share your gifts, to develop deep, genuine relationships with your peers and adults, to play and laugh with gusto, to be challenged, and to more fully take responsibility for the young woman or man you are becoming.
